I was thrilled to visit Ko Jum and chose Golden Bay Cottage - Sha Extra Plus for its convenient location. To my surprise, the hotel offered complimentary wireless internet access and concierge services, making my stay even more convenient. Additionally, the on-site restaurant, Golden Leaf, served a satisfying meal with delicious Thai and European dishes. I also enjoyed ending my day with a refreshing drink at the beach bar. the additional features of this hotel exceeded my expectations.

Our credit card was charged prior to arrival, in my home currency instead of the local currency. This resulted in a 10% increase in price for the night they charged on the credit card due to the poor exchange rate used.

The ambiance of Golden Bay Cottage was simply delightful. The hotel's decoration, with its tropical gardens and charming terrace, created a peaceful and serene atmosphere. It was such a pleasure to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The accessibility for senior people was also commendable. The hotel provided easy access with well-maintained pathways, ensuring a safe and comfortable stay for us seniors.

It would have been even better if the children working there could provide more assistance and support specifically catered to the needs of senior guests.

The pool was large and clean, and the location is right on the beach. Excellent staff, helpful & friendly. Family-friendly beach. Easy to organize trips.

We had to debate to get the room we had booked, sorry to say that it did not feel so welcoming because of that. Rock hard beds, could not sleep so good because of that, they really need to change to better softer quality.

We thought the location was very good, satisfied with the pool and the surrondings. The staff were very nice and gentle. We defenitily will come back to this place.

I always return to this cozy place for my city break. They have free Wi-Fi, 24-hour security, a swimming pool, and a private beach. The staff is helpful and I remembered when they found my forgotten hairbrush. It suits me perfectly!

Great price, friendly staff, location by the beach. We stayed here over New Year's and got a great deal for our room. The staff were lovely and very helpful throughout our stay. The location by the beach was perfect, and we enjoyed watching the sunset from the shore. The pool was also nice and well-maintained.

Some minor maintenance issues and limited amenities. The bathrooms could have used some better maintenance and the Wi-Fi was spotty at times.

Rooms were full of moskitos because doors and windows didn´t close completely. Building work everywhere. Dirty beach.

The location of the hotel was ideal, being situated directly on a clean beach with sand bottom seafront, making it perfect for a beach vacation. The room and bathroom were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable space to relax in. The staff was polite and accommodating, offering timely service and assistance whenever required.

staff were really friendly, fantastic location, beautiful beaches, amazing food (especially in the evening with fresh grilled fish), in fact the best restaurant we tried on the whole beach. nice pool, very good with young children, but also for couple young and older!

The prices are reasonable, especially considering the hotel's location right on the beach at Khlong Dao. The basic amenities provided, such as the air-conditioned rooms and daily cleaning service with fresh towels, make for a comfortable stay. The rooms also have a terrace, allowing guests to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The hotel offers a breakfast included in the price, which is still served and provides a good variety for meat eaters.

Large clean rooms. Friendly staff and close to the beach. Koh Lanta has nice long beaches, good for swimming but not good for snorkeling (water not clear).
